I have an offer now for the Maldives and kept declining offers there this year. The reasons I declined were the sheer numbers of women who have been sexually harrased while working in maldivian resorts or forced by managers to date local politicians. Than the accommodation in the maldives is mostly always shared unlike Europe where you can get a single room if you're in the entertainment department and there's no dress code either. That sharia law over there is a killer. The resort that wants to take me now asked me to wear a Muslim swimsuit on the beach lol. Bro. We don't ask them in Europe to remove the burka. Aside from this ...the scariest thing for me in the Maldives is obviously harassment. Did you experience this in the resort where you worked?
